Mission                 

Vision

To promote the importance and emphasize the benefits of a visual arts education through service learning (Quail Valley Middle School) and to assist young art students in career development. 
A community in which a visual arts education is given more attention and integrated into the curriculum of every school.

Studio Thinking 2: The Real Benefits of a Visual Arts Education offers extensive insight on the impact that art courses have on the development of an individual, specifically students. In addition, this guide includes detailed explanation of proven and effective methodology for teaching visual arts, covering theories such as the studio structures for learning.

In School: Donna Reedy
Outside: Imelda Valencia

Donna Reedy is Anton's visual arts teacher at William P. Clements High School. She has taught for over 27 years, including classes such as Drawing I, II, III, and AP Studio Art. Mrs. Reedy is the head of Fort Bend Independent School District's Visual Arts Department and is the Visual Arts facilitator. She is also a presenter for the Texas Art Educators Association and AP College Board. Recently, she was named the official director of the Visual Arts Scholastic Event in the south region.

Imelda Valencia has taught Art I and II for the past three years at Fort Bend Independent School District's Gifted and Talented Academy (Quail Valley Middle School). Ms. Valencia has opened new opportunities for art competitions to students and is a part-time artist as well. She graduated from the University of Texas in San Antonio.
